和美花園 Hemei Garden
While wandering around Hemei, I noticed little plants; some were cared for while others grew naturally.
As I photographed them I worked to develop harmony between the plants and their surroundings.
This series is the result of that process.
The meaning of Hemei is beauty and harmony.

當我漫步在和美，我注意到周圍有一些小植物：有些被精心照料著，有些則自然生長。在拍攝它們時，我試著用攝影來呈現植物與周圍環境之間的和諧之美。這組攝影作品就是這個過程的成果。
作為一名攝影師，我試著將眼前的元素創造成一個和諧的整體。這是一個將構圖元素組合起來的創作過程，也是參與構圖的過程。創造一幅圖像，畫面中的構圖元素必須和諧，而同樣重要的是，我也必須與圖像中的主題和構圖元素和諧一致。

「和美」不只是彰化縣和美鎮的地名，更有和諧、美麗的意思。它未必是一個具體的地方，而是當我們放下既定框架，與環境和諧地合而為一時，所看見的美麗風景。
